Yeah i'd love a sequel. But I just can't see them doing it. Only 400 mill on an almost 200 mill budget? And the movie came out 4 years ago. And this is a 20th/Disney property and they're not exactly desperate for franchises...

But I'd be there opening weekend if/when they do

On the other hand, chalk it up to cost of keeping Cameron on Avatar.

I’m very happy to hear that Cameron is working on more! I really enjoyed the first film. I definitely want to see more. It would be amazing if Cameron directed, but like others have said, doubt they will happen. Still, his heavy involvement is enough

So, of course, those same articles then revisit the sequel rumors and possibilities…
