gotta go with batman returns, x2 hasn't aged well with me for some reason. it was awesome when i saw it when i was like 8, but upon recent viewings, idk, it just doesn't hold that state of awe anymore. the ending is great, for sure, but even battle between deathstike and wolverine, which had me pumped when i first saw it, now just seems too...overly choreographed. But batman returns, imo, is truely a marvel in terms of comic book adaptation. it took a comic book character and made it an artistic experiment in german expressionism. with the exception of the dark knight and to an extent iron man, its the only comic book movie that tries to more than just a comic book movie, but an artistic statement.

I'm going with X2. I liked BR, own it on Blu-ray but I think X2 is much better. Lady Deathstrike vs Wolvie was one of my favorite comic film battles.
