The Dark Knight Rises BB3 and Spiderman 4 Will Overlap

Meaning they will both be released in 2011. What do you guys think, should they hold BB3 off for a year? Will it hurt their box office? Discuss.

SM4 will suck, BB3 has too much potential, but considering there's more Batman fans than SM ones but there are more kids who like SM than Batman I think it will be very hard to predict lulz

WB will probably push Batman 3 on to July and SM4 will be on June, it's only a month between them. We don't know if Nolan returns to do third movie.

Yes, because BB made sooo much much more money than the Spidey movies.

Anyway,

I won't predict the quality of either as we know nothing about 'em (albeit I have to point out that before SM3, Raimi and co. could do no wrong and all the hype fanboys just "KNEW" that it would the best ever and now they just know with no basis that SM4 will suck and BB3 will be the best ever).

Anyway, if they should both make 2011 (as neither seem like cemented deals to me), why can't they just space out like 2008? I mean was it really that big of a deal that Iron Man and Indiana Jones IV came out in May two months away from TDK? No. Within three weeks of each other both Iron Man and IJIV cleared $300 million domestic and while I'm not sure TDK will make that much, it will do VERY WELL.

So SM4 comes out the first weekend of May and BB3 comes out in mid-late July. Any problems? Doubt it. What of Cap America and Avengers also scheduled that year? Eh, I suspect one of 'em (Avengers) will get delayed and both Memorial Day and July 4th are still open.
