The Dark Knight BD Live Chat with Christopher Nolan

TDK is the first bluray disc I've bought, so I'm kind of confused. I signed up on the WB site, put my disc in, and clicked on BD-Live but it said it was loading for about 20 minutes and then the loading icon went away but the screen didn't change. My internet connection says its ok and I was able to download an update to my player two days ago, so why can't I access BD-Live on the disc? Is anyone else having this problem? And for someone who's already used BD-Live how long does it usually take to access and what should come up on the screen?

I just wanna know one thing. If a third one is made (with him or someone else) would it be appropriate to recast the Joker even though Ledger died, seeing as the original plan was to bring him back?

well that's never been confirmed either way, and personally I can't see him being brought back. His story was told

i think they would use him in a small role. maybe like somethin with crane? only part of the main story?

I don't have a blu ray and won't be taking part in this, but if anyone can be bothered to basically tell me how this works I'd appreciate it. I mean, how does the interaction with Nolan work?

it's a live chat with Nolan through BD-Live through the Blu-Ray disc, but I do not believe a date and time has been set yet.

The chat is next Thursday, the 18th starting at 6pm PST. :yay:

Is anyone else having problems accessing BD Live or is there just something wrong with my disc/player/internet?

Got my e-mail and signed up. When you get your e-mail, don't wait. It's the first 100,000 and that's it. Rack'em up!! :-):yay:

Has anyone in the UK signed up for th BD-Live event?

I am wondering if it is only for those in the US

I keep getting
Warner Bros. BD-Live Registration

ERROR
We apologize, but you are not eligible to register for this activity

Also, I can't see a BD-Live Icon on my Blu-ray copy of TDK.

I just signed up and have been accepted. This is going to be amazing. I just hope the system doesn't lock up.

Yea I got my email invite and was accepted! :woot: Now I am trying to think of some good questions to ask. I am an aspiring filmmaker(and comic book fan) myself In college now (mass commuication broadcasting major/jounalism/major) so it should not be that hard lol. Can't wait!!!!

i know fanboys will not want to hear this, but i highly doubt he will recast. from what i hear, people close to TDK think it would be in bad taste.

Yes, it's only for American residents.

I submitted three questions in advance, and I think they're tasteful. No nitpicks, no fanboy nonsense.

I got accepted and I'm in Canada. Maybe it's just for North Americans.

I'm in Canada too, and when I originally registered I was hit with that same error message.

So I simply changed my IP address and used a U.S. postal code to register, since the website can identify your location and reject the user based on their IP address country of origin.

Sneaky? Absolutely, but that's how I watch TV show streams from American network websites.

Are there still spots open? (Doubt it but doesn't hurt to ask)

I registered a bit late last night, and waited for a few hours and didn't get anything. I checked my email at about 4:30pm today and saw that I had an invitation! I signed up and it went through!

So excited :woot:

I couldn't think of anything to ask Nolan though...lol.
