Movies are coming out on DVD faster and faster lately. My guess would be sooner and later to release it while the hype is still going.

Just updated it with the date The Dark Knight Roller Coaster is opening ! And, if anybody has the power to change the title to the right spelling of "Calender" please do so, or let me know how.

DVDs come out on average about 3-4 months after the film's theatrical run. The turnaround time on those is much quicker these days compared to the 8 months or so that VHS would take. Plus, I think studios really like to capitalize on hype before a movie exits the public's stream of consciousness.

So, has anyone else heard about the Takara Batman stuff (feb 28th seems awfully early--I'm hoping they'll be a Joker as well)...and DC Direct, or Corgi or whoever is making the higher end collectible stuff this time around (I gotta get me one of those Two Face coins!)??
