The Dark Knight The Dark Knight Calander

when i relized that they are both by WB/Ledgendary. i was just thinking because TDK is made by the smae company they will prolly use 10,000 BC to promote TDK

I agree, it's been a few months since the last trailer, bring on a new one. And 10,000 BC and Speed Racer seem like logical places for TDK.

Thanks for the calendar -a nice resource. :brucebat:

I did a quick Google search on the new edition of Batman Begins, but I couldn't find any info on what makes this edition special.

Does anybody know what will be in this so-called Batman Begins: Ultimate Collector's Edition? Commentary? Hopefully...

They have announced nothing yet, I imagine that I commentary would be included as Nolan is quite fond of them.

He has such a soft voice though you barely know he is talking! :yay:

unless its freakin grindhouse then dvds take forever, oh I will bet money the dvds out October November xmas time that"ll be the dvd 2 have.

and Batman begins ultimate edition? pick that up with Gotham knight

My guess is that the new Batman Begins edition will come out on July 8th, along with Gotham Knight. I'm sure we'll hear something official very soon, along with a complete list of extra features, and number of discs included.

I'm hoping they have an extended edition of BB on it. :D

Why is the UK cinema release a week after the US? I'm curious is it school holiday reasons? Although I'm happy about the Aussie date. Most shocking.

Considering Rubies makes Halloween costumes, probably hmmm lets see around Septermber/October of this year.

..plus the fact that a couple of them are already on ebay...

Its so that they can do a proper premier in London with all the stars.

They often do this, other wise you would just have some of the producers talking about the film.

It sucks for me as well but America comes first

But I thought Harry Potter comes out the same time for fans but have different "premier" dates earlier than the release. Sometimes the US is before the UK. But not always. However they open for the public the same time in both countries. Seems sensible (I'm not doubting what you are saying 'cos it sounds right even if stupid of them to do this). Commiserations - I know how crap it can be to get things after a lot of the world.

Thats true about Harry Potter but I think it depends on the opening audience as well.

Batman is generally considered an American institute like Superman, even though the majority of the cast and director are from overseas and has a huge international fanbase.

I dont know how big Potter is in US but I do believe the anticipation for that project has always been bigger in the UK.

Who knows how the studio works though, however they do know whats best for us after all! :)

With Potter among fans it'd be equal in anticipation because the US sold more than 10 million of at least the last two books the first day. So there's a huge fanbase. Not to mention the internet sites (the most well known come from there). I think even the general film going fans they're huge. By the way I love it too and I'm in Australia.

I think studios a fools if they don't release the "blockbusters" the same week world wide. There is such a thing called the internet. Same with DVDs. Though I wish they'd just release the animated stuff here sometime one day as well as the last fifties Superman series box set. Sorry it's a peeve.
