I grew up on this cartoon and loved it. It single handedly revitalized a dying series with a now older fanbase that it started with. Are there any characters that you want to see? They did an excellent job with Scorpinok and I would love to see more animal based machines.

I loved BW too, but anymore characters would stick out too much in this movie :(

Beast Wars movie? Yes.

Beast Wars characters in a Transformers movie? Naw...

From what Rob Orci said about Soundwave he noted that you can't have SW without Ravage and Lazerbeak so that's atleast 2 more animal forms you can hope to see in the film.

YES! Greatest story line out of any Transformers series I've seen. I've seen every single episode of that, and even though the animation wasnm't that great, everything else was magnificent. Only thing is, don't know if I dug Megatron's voice and his persona...maybe, I'll have to think about it. I love how they introduced new Transformers and things, though.

The main ones I would love to see are Depth Charge, Rampage, and Inferno. Depth Charge would be a great aquatic element to the movie and the only one I really think they could translate into an animal from the series IMO. Rampage and Inferno were just bad *** awesome. Give Inferno a military vehicle that with a flame thrower and make Rampage like a huge monster truck. I am sure we will see more smaller transformers that take on animal like characteristics like the humanoid Soundwave. But the great thing about these designs is that you can incorporate animalistic parts or just go all out like Scorpinok.

Just noticed this on Wikipedia and it has to do with Revenge of the Fallen:

Before Transformers was released, producer Tom DeSanto said he had come up with "a very cool idea" to introduce the Dinobots and Constructicons,[7]
