Little wiki edit job
Hope Bay likes my subtle jabs.
...And this I did for fun, and to be an ass.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transformers_(film)#ProductionSince a script leak fan reaction has been mixed. Some see it as a revitalized and new take on the franchise while others see it as a bastardization of the characters from the old G1 cartoon. There also seems to be a prevailing belief that the Don Murphy Boards and Shootfortheedit (Michael Bay's Board) actively keeps negative opinions regarding the film suppressed therefore quieting the "fan input" which was initially said to be so crucial in pre-production. In fact some argue fan input is outright ignored, and any changes made are more fan appeasement on top of an otherwise unrecognizable product. However apologists for the film insist that this film is being adapted in such a way to tone down the "toy commercial" aspects which plagued the original show. Michael Bay himself has insisted that this movie is "not a toy commercial" and "not about toys". However even these statements seem somewhat ironic considering that Bay himself is profiting greatly from a much expanded Transformers toy and merchandise line which follows the film's release.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_BayMichael Bay, as stated by the popular magazine Variety, may in fact have no soul. To compensate for this the article claims he feeds off the souls of others, consuming them until he becomes a massive creature capable of applying an orange filter to the fabric of space time itself. Scientists refer to this as the "Bay Orange Filter Theory" and it is one of the leading theories regarding the Universe's eventually fate along with "the Big Chill" and "the Big Crunch".
