Same thing has happened in the death matches. Not many people are voting and discussing

When it comes to the 'DeathMatches', you have to get people to participate. You cannot sit back and hope they do. If you make it a point to include people, the results are usually better.

That could actually be applied to 15 Minutes as well. If you're relatively unknown in the community but post a lot elsewhere, invite your buds from that board(s) to come over and ask you stuff in your thread. The high posts/page numbers usually indicate more popular/interesting threads and would make ppl more inclined to check it out

People may get mad about campaigning or advertising your thread/deathmatch, but I don't see a problem with it. By doing those, you get in contact with posters you don't normally talk to, and it enhances the community experience.

it wont take too long, we're averaging bout 8 people per month.

and if someone gets perma banned, their obviously lose their spot. if someone doesn't post in the first 2 days of their thread, they're automatically closed and they go to the end of the list if they want another chance.

however, if i'm told in advance (more than a day) that it's not a good week for them, i'm willing to bump them back.
