The Dark Knight Behind the scenes look @ the dark knight on the today show right now!!!

The thing I can't understand, it's when Batman's talking to Lucius, why is he change his voice if he knows that Lucius knows who he is?

I think once Wayne is in the suit, he fully shifts into Batman mode, regardless of who he's talking to. It would be "awkward" in a way to see him talking in his regular voice in the suit.

Good points.

So, you're saying that you are the baby & he is the high school kid? That make him sound better than being a little baby. High school kid don't fuss a lot like baby does. :D :D

"Roker Acting 101: How to stare & turn your head to look like a badass"

LOL

Did anyone else notice they used that manip of Conrad Veidt as the Joker when they introduced Heath LEdger as being in the cast? Just thought I'd point that out :)

What's the deal with NBC getting exclusive set interviews and bat pod previews? Who's the parent company for NBC and WB? Same?

Yeah just about everyone noticed. lol

Yeah, that manip has fooled a lot of people but this late in the game somebody obviously didn't do their homework at the Today show.

Lots of green screen on those sets.Ah, movie magic. But sadly no Joker (just Roker):csad: .

No, they aren't affiliated. NBC is partnered with Universal and they're both owned by GE (sadly). Warner Bros and Universal are technically rivals, but it sort of works in the same way that an actor from an NBC show will do promo on Letterman (who is on CBS). The entertainment industry is sort of weird that way.

I was implying that someone other than a doctor gave him the exam. Otherwise the person would have known to tell him what type of exam he was being given.

But I digress.

Wouldn't be sexual harassment though. At best he could claim criminal sexual assault or a tortious battery. But I digress.

was it me or did that look like a big ass computer screen he was in front of?

Thank you Mr. Criminal Law Expert. Next time I make a smart ass comment relating to someone's failed attempt at a hernia exam joke on an internet message board I'll know the specifics of the varied and colorful forms of sexual assault.

Why did Al Roker have to ask those lame questions to Eckhart?

Couldn't he pop in "Will we see Two-Face?" "Do you have a scene with The Joker?". :woot:

The only thing about the suit Im not too sure about are the pants. I was hoping they'd be more form fitting, but when they showed Batman walking you can clearly see how baggy they are.

As for the cowl, well, it doesnt bother me at all. I used to watch Power Rangers when I was a kid so the new helmet-y look is a pretty cool development. Also, it kind of accentuates the robotic look of the overall suit which Im digging a lot.

The neck brace thing some of you have a problem with is cool with me as well. Actually, I was kind of apprehensive about how they were going to cover Bruce's neck now that they were going with a separate cowl. I thought it was going to look like rubber tact onto the top of the suit, but the design of the neck piece they came up with is nice. Looks just like armor.

Overall, Im impressed.

is this on youtube yet?

sorry i really don;t want to look through the pages. it's all gone to hell

I think the 70's influence of Batman comics on TDK has gone pretty much unnoticed. I'm getting a very Neal Adams vibe from the suit and Bruce Wayne living in the penthouse is straight from the Denny O'Neil era.

Nolan has done his homework
