The Dark Knight Behind the scenes look @ the dark knight on the today show right now!!!

There are problematic elements of detail on the suit, but it general I much prefer its slimmer contours- it reminds me of the Bronze Age Batman rather than the post-new-comics-steroid-Batman.

Watching that clip for the second time, I realized that despite my qualms with the suit there is something I really liked about it. GETTING TO SEE BATMAN TURN HIS HEAD WITHOUT MOVING HIS ENTIRE FRICKIN BODY.

phew, nice.

I'm glad they talked a lil bit with Eckhart....I can already tell I'm going to be emotionally invested in Harvey, which will make his tragic fate all the more profound and dramatic.

Man its kinda funny they don't use Heaths pic but instead Adrian Veigts.

But I at least I look like a badass.

don't get to excited it was mostly batman begins footage theres no joker or anythign there was like tiny second clips of the new suit.

hahah i love how they have the fake Joker picture and say its heath,

With the first footage where it sounds Batman talking to Fox, his neck looks way too skinny...but in the second footage it looks different to me. I can't explain it.

Maybe I'm high...

First chance we got to see him move around in it though and I gotta say he looked alot less stiff and rigid than in past incarnations.

What the hell is Batman even saying in the footage?

"I gotta find this man" or "I gotta find this mail"? Because apparently that's why Batman gave it to Fox...he's the only who can use it?

interesting that Batman is finally mano-a-mano with Fox.

Wow, you gotta admit Roker has a way with words.

"We've gotten rid of the villians..there's a homicidal guy...with...the Joker out there."

LOL I know...I was just sitting there thinking "Either you just watched film before the interview or you have absolutely no idea...what the hell you are talking about"

Did you guys notice when they were introducing the cast and called Ledgers name they showed the man who laughs pic!:cwink:

I laughed. Seriously, you'd think the Veidt picture would die after real photos of Ledger were released.

the suit looks better in motion in the video. People are taking screencaps, and they're candid and not meant for the actual movie.

Initially, I was thinking "Batman has a funny looking head". BUT Batman can't win. I mean, I wanted a slimmer neck, and that's what we got. Maybe the head should of been...flush against the neck, but even then I'm not "OMG, the movie is ruined'.

The neck definitely looks goofy and makes his head look pretty bulbous, but the oveall look of the suit does look better in motion.

but in certain shots, it looks good.

Now it's the opposite: IN Batman Begins, the cowl looked good from angles, but not up front. Here, the cowl looks good from upfront and 'meh' from angles.

Wally Pster better give out good shots.

I like Nolan's OTHER films. I don't understand why he can't just create a Batman film that's like The Prestige.

You know what, that's a good question? I really enjoyed the prestige and I couldn't help but find myself saying "why didn't his Batman film have this feel to it?" The Prestige felt like a stylish mystery/fantasy movie straight out of the Twilight Zone. His Batman film......it just isn't what I expected or wanted....it's basically some kind of alternate world Batman or something and not the Batman I hoped for or envisioned at all...it's not even close...
