The Dark Knight Behind the scenes look @ the dark knight on the today show right now!!!

oh Bull***** man, I was going off because after 5 films (5) they still can't get it right. I will get pissed about that if i want to and throw in a couple of !. So what? big friggin deal. Then you have to point out that someones a baby because they are sick of the silly looking Batman since 1989. Then throw in a stupid pic of a baby crying to put down a 36 year old artist who cares about the look of superheros since a small child because to this day he still likes to draw them! The look of Batman is important to me so deal with it and move on and make your own comments on the SUBJECT and not me. I may be acting like a "baby" to you but your comming across like a "high school kid" to me so why point it out?

Pwnd. Gotta stick up for my NH peeps. :o

Batman's head DOES looks funny depending on the angle. I think it looks bad in the last two shots in the footage.

I don't know what I think of it; I have to wait and see. Sometimes, I feel like the costume designer..doesn't get it.

Ya, at times it looks great and at other times it looks terrible. I wish they did trim the helmet down a tad or something.

Also I agree with you I sometimes feel like the costume designer doesn't get it, but then again I haven't gone through all the trials that they have. I am sure they tried a real close to home costume but it was awful.

honestly, I watched the Today show footage again. The costume looks good in the first half.

It's just that last lingering shot of Batman's head looking towards the NBC camera that looks awkward.

I also think it's subconscious thing that we're not used to a rubber Bat suit with slimmer features. Because of that, it just looks weird because it hasn't been done before.

Well maybe on film they won't show it from the bad angle so it will look good throughout

That's what I said. It sounds like a cop out on my part :p

NBC is doing two things: They are not using film cameras with finished footage (color processing), nor are they using angles intended for the movie made by the cinematographer. Hell, the screen screen is clearly visible.

again, i might be wrong.

Indiana Jones-"That's what scares me."

Well ya know what? Looks like I'm gonna have to buy NBC and set some things straight! CHACHING!!!

Gothcard.....LMAO, I've never had the blessing of noticing that before.

I hate Joel Shumacher for that scene...Batman showing up at a charity event was so out of EVERYTHING Batman is about...damn Joel Shu and damn any incarnation of Robin too.

Yeah, the contrast between Shumachers Batman and Nolans is like......um.....great and large.

Your word is horsecrap.

How can you say Ledger and Eckhart are better when you have not seen the film yet dumbass?
Nicholson, ok, he shouldn't say that.

But Jones? Are you kidding me? He was ******* TERRIBLE.

The suit definitely looks less hi-tech there, and the segmentation makes the suit muscles more proeminent. Finally we hear a little more about Bats on the movie.

I didn't like how the cowl and neck looked at first either, but after looking a the video 20 + times is starting to grow on me.:p

i'm not really digging the way the batsuit looks like now, he comes off as some stealth track runner as oppsed to some stealth ass kicker =\

Ok, I finally saw the clip. He's not "moving" any better than he did in BEGINS. Granted he's walking. And the head/neck looks absurd from the side. Absolutely ridiculous.

Yeah, walking a few steps is a great standpoint to tell how he moves. Wasn´t even worth mentioning to begin with. let´s make any comparisons when we see movements worth comparing.
