Being single sucks

It's Friday night, I'm going into my Fall Break, but instead of having a nice young girl come over to spend the weekend with me, and go out and do stuff, no, I'm stuck at home by myself on a Friday night. And a Saturday night. And a Sunday night with no school the next day.

This **** is weak, that particular gender is starting to piss me off with their ********.

Or maybe it's not so much the "single" thing, as it is the "being in a new place and having no friends" thing, and not ever having been too good and meeting new people and making new friends outside of my close knit circle.

Look at it this way. You're saving money by not having to take out a girl all the time, and you don't have to worry about keeping someone happy all the damn time. Relationships can be fun, but there are some benefits to being single too.

Most of it is the last part of my thread. It's not even so much the "single" thing as it is a slew of other things.

I've been in a bad funk lately, in that whole "feeling worthless" mode. Should I have made a thread about it? Probably not. I've just been dealing with a lot emotionally lately (and more than just not having crap to do on a Friday night, I'm talking about true major **** too that's not emo high school crap) and I just don't feel like I have much option to release.

I think just aobut everyobdy hates being alone . If your worried about that then it's just going to pile on top of all your problems and make you fell like a loser. I doubt you'll be single forever but it could be a few months. I'd just take this time to reflect on yourself and try to get things straightned out that might get pushed aside if your busy with someone else.


i'm in a new place and part of the reason is because of drinking problems so i can't accept alot of invitations to go hang out with coworkers. i don't know , it's tough.

Man, I have a friend. He's never had a girlfriend in his life. He's had like 2 girls that were interested in him, and he really screwed himself with them. One asked him out to eat and he said he couldn't make it because his dad already planned for them to go eat somewhere else. He tells his dad about this, and his dad said he wouldn't have cared if he went with the chick. Then next time he see's her, she's with a different dude.

He complains so much about being single. It gets old hearing about it, but he must really want a girlfriend... And he always brings up how he's ruined his chances with a chick. (Which he has, I mean seriously, it's sad.)

And when me and my girlfriend do something when he's around, he gets jealous, it's rather annoying. But whacha goanna do. he's a really lonely fellow. And I feel rather bad for him.
