Whedon also writes Buffy, Angel, and soon to be some more Firefly comics for Darkhorse, and has been writing for TV and movies since the 80s. Hell, he one an oscar for co-writing Toy Story.

I don't like Whedon's politics too much, but he is a hell of a smart guy and a FANTASTIC writer. I loved his three tv shows (not a fan of Serenity though ), I mean absoloutly loved, and loved his comic work in Fray and 80% of it in astonishing. The guy is a writing masterclass and a generally nice guy from all I have seen.


Again, too, I dont get the Bendis hate. He's not my cup of tea, he's fairly mediocre, but some of you people make out his work is complete trash, like he's the comic uwe boll or something.

seriously I can't bear people coming in here and hating on Bendis just because his name is in the title of the thread. We all know that everyone has an opinion on his writing, but c'mon, is this thread really about why we hate or respect his writing and what percentage of his writing we hate or respect. No. This thread is about two wordy writers gettin' it on wordy-style. And it is arousing.
