dragon ball z doesnt really count imo
so.......the incredibles

To me, DBZ movies are just extended, off-topic with the main baddy, cool episodes.

Beauty and the Beast. Nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture.

I refuse to choose one because the majority of them are so good and Anastasia for some reason is not on the list.

A great classic of animation from the 80's made by the same people who did the wonderful "The last unicorn".

I strongly reccommend both.

Don Bluth's last passable animated movie, before falling into bad territory. It's not bad, mind you. I mean, the idea behind the movie is great, it's a beautiful little story, and I quite enjoyed some of it's simplicity.(helps that the visuals were a beauty to look at)

But my problem lies in the fact that Bluth tried to make it too much like a Disney movie. If he had choose to remove all of the fantasy aspect of the movie, and concentrated himself on the original story, it would have been quite an original concept in animation. But alas, he put a bad guy to explain the revolution (and when you think about it, Bluth could have removed him without the story ever being altered). But he choose to put a stupid little sidekick animal and a pure evil bad guy.

Meh. Still good, but could have been so much better. His Secret of Nihm is far better, and so was his cruel All dogs go to heaven.

Wah, cool. I'll give those a shot if I enjoy the work of Trnka.

Just saw Monster house last night. Really like it. Sure, far from being the best, but it had more originality and heart than any animation from Hollywood (aside from some Pixar, maybe) these last few years. The house design was very great.

Only downfall, imo, is that it would have been much more beautiful in 2D. There's a painting section of the entire movie in the extras, and my god, it simply blows away the generic 3D the movie uses. Sigh.
The funny thing is, it was actually done with motion capture. Not just CGI.
