I figures since everyone liked the sequel movie poll That I would do Original Movie Poll. Which is i will select the first film in every trilogy much like the Sequel movie poll thread.

I gave my vote to ANH, but following closely were The Godfather and Raiders t:

Die Hard, my third favorite movie and the first movie on my list to spawn sequels. It is the greatest action movie of all time. Springboarded one of the best and biggest tough guy actors of all time. Had one of the greatest villain portrayals of all time. Incredible use of practical special effects. And the biggest accomplishment, it set precedent for so many action movies to come. Movies are always being pitched with the the phrase "It's like Die Hard in/on a....." (Theme park, boat, plane, etc.)
