Best Movie Based Games

Shocker, does Lord of The Rings: Return of The King age well? Haven't played it yet.

Spider-Man 2 is not just the best movie-game I played but probably one of the best games period. It's just loads of fun.

Well I haven't played it since it came out, so I dunno about how it would feel today. What I can tell you though is that before Resident Evil 5 came out it was one of my favorite co-op games ever. I would recommend having a partner to play it with though, part of what I loved was having my brother to play with.

It's a fun game, lots of cool moves and and epic levels. I say play it if you've got the time and chance to pick it up cheap.

Spider-Man 2: I remember when they first unveiled the new swinging system. I was simply stunned. I watched videos of that gameplay over and over and over again.

Goldeneye (N64): An epic multiplayer experience. 'Nuff said.

Spider-Man movie game. Great fun, almost as if it was the extended version of the movie..and it also proves that with the proper writing, Tobey Maguire is quite capable of delivering Spidey's one-liners.

GoldenEye 007 for the N64 and all three of the Jurassic Park games for the Genesis come to mind, as does as JP game for the Super NES.

What are some of the best movie based games?

Spider-man 2
Spider-man
Star Wars Episode 1: Racer
Ghostbusters The Game{most likely}
24 The Game

24 isn't a movie.

And Golden Eye
Spider-Man1, 2, and 3
Terminator 3 The Redemption
The Punisher (Tom Janes voice and Howard Saint being the guy that killed his family)

Goldeneye 007
Spider-Man 2
Star Wars: Battlefront 2
Star Wars Trilogy (the arcade game...NEEDS to be on a console right now!)
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

X-Men Origins: Wolverine gets brownie points. It's not the greatest game, but it does have the distinct honor of being better than the movie it was based on. But I'm sure the same could be said for Goldeneye and Chronicles of Riddick (though I've never played the latter).

I don't get it...

Are you being sarcastic?

Although technacally there is a TV movie, and another movie planned!

(Other than that, yes, it was obvious sarcasm).

Ah, yeah, I know it's a tv series, but I threw it in ther anyways.:yay:

Aladdin for the Genesis was pretty good. And also, though It's not technically based on the films, Stars Wars: Shadows of the Empire(N64) essentially took most of the moments of them anyway. Plus with a little cheating you could play as an AT-ST...or a Wampa.

The Punisher (with Tom Jane)

spidey 1 and 2

Aladdin for sega

Starwars Battlefront 1 and 2....... Force Unleashed

The Warriors

Scarface: The World Is Yours

Lotr Rotk and the two towers

I'm gonna say batman begins, cause i liked dropping down and nabbing bad guys

The Lego games

Wolverine

Was "24" really any good though?

I thought 'From Russia With Love' was all right. It injected too much action like steroids to the brain, but meh.

I hear 'King Kong' was a good game too.

I liked 'Quantum of Solace' as a game, but storytelling wise...it's got broken kneecaps and barely crawls along.

I read the PS2 version of Quantum of Solace got a higher score than the current-gen systems. Anyone played it?

almost forgot about

king kong
qos

Does 007 everything or nothing count ?

I played through about 3 levels and I didn't like it much. But I played it earlier this year, so it was pretty old by then. I can't imagine how people playing it when it first came out might feel about it.

Spider-Man 2 is easily the best movie game I've played so far. Best Spider-Man game in general to this day.

Spider-Man 2 was awesome, is awesome.

But Chronicles of Riddick is still my top pick. It was a truly brilliant stand alone game, let alone movie game. And the graphics still hold up today. Starbreeze FTMFW
