Best Movie Endings

How do you guys feel about The Empire Strikes Back's ending?

I love it because it's a sad ending disguised as a happy ending. Films don't end too sadly so when one does, it stands out. It's another reason why I love the The Dark Knight ending. It's a downer but done so well.

Rocky Balboa
Phenomenon
The Matrix
Mrs. Doubtfire
Batman Returns
Toy Story 3
Batman Begins

Mrs. Doubtfire is a great one because it doesn't end in a corny way. It's very realistic and that's what makes it emotional.

For me, Prisoners was one of those movies that had an incredible first two parts then a last act that kind of lost steam, including the ending. But what works is just absolutely mesmerizing. It stays with you.

Spider-Man 2.
Batman Begins.
Toy Story 3.

Mr. Hollands Opus

oh god yes, one of my all time faves that whole bit with past and present students wishing him a farewell and that final musical performance tis an awesome movie ending period.
