spider man 1 goblin the motivations in spider man 1 and in the amazing spider man 2 where both good but William defoe is the best acting villain in a spider man movie yet and the guy that did the goblin in the new one had a bad laugh that wasn't really crazy sounded or scary like goblin in spider man 1.

Really? Because all I see there is Butt-Head on meth.

You my friend, win the internet this week.

Dafoe easily, although I hated the costume.

The new one not only looks horrible, he was just thrown in with little to no development to do "that one thing."

Visually, I think DeHaan's Goblin is the best. I think he even had the best laugh. But he had a rushed introduction in TASM2 so for now I will say Dafoe had the best Goblin until I see what they do with DeHaan in future films.

DeHaan for sure.
Then Dafoe.
Franco isn't even a Goblin at all.

Dafoe Dafoe a million times Dafoe. Best suit, best origin, best laugh (between Dane), best fight scene. Best everything.

The way he first appears at the parade in Spider-Man, does a flyby laughing maniacally, and throws a pumpkin, a fantastic entrance.

Franco and Dehaan's Goblins did nothing for me. Especially Franco, with the ending to Spider-Man 2, they were really setting up something speciap, but did nothing with it.

Dafoe and Franco by far in every aspect.

Dehaan's Goblin was an extremely flawed character and it didn't look good but because I like the actor I will say that his laugh was cool.

I liked dehaan's gobin and the story but I didn't like his laugh has I didn't think it was crazy or scary sounded almost sounded like a girl lol but liked him over all. Dafoe was the best because of look motivation and acting. Franco wasn't bad ether though.

As much i love GG from SM1 in this one Dane nailed,he was scary, better costume like a LOT and dat laugh and he kinda killed Gwen (not that i wanted) so Dane wins for me.

This isn't even a fair contest. Dafoe wins this by a mile! I loved Franco's Harry Osborn, and I do feel his plotline was best part of SM3. But, more could have been done with him. Dehaan was GG for like half a minute. So he loses.

Man, Dafoe was awesome.

Franco's buildup to the Green Goblin is probably the best thing in the Raimi series. Also, his death was pretty poignant because of how well his character was developed over three films.

DeHaan, who I love as an actor, just didn't have a solid script. He was just kinda thrown in there.

Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin is still the best to me, from the suit to the characterization. I enjoyed Dane Dehaan's, but his was more of an introduction to the character with more to come, and I won't even qualify whatever James Franco was as a Goblin.:whatever:

Dafoe. He nailed the role even though the outfit isn't that great.

Franco was great too but just come in second for me. DeHaan's make up and outfit is awesome but he isn't in the movie for as long as he should have been.

Dafoe most definitely. If only he had a LOTR esque facial prosthetic though. Covering up his naturally creep face with a plastic mask was the wrong way to go. They should have highlighted his creepiness, not covered it up completely.

DeHaan's was just a joke. Almost a parody of the Green Goblin.
