Of course I mean those loyal allies who help make the man/woman out of their trainees. Who would be your pick for the 'Best Movie Mentor'? My pick would be: Mickey Goldmill played by Bergess Meredith from 'Rocky'.

Mr. Miyagi (Karate Kid):

Pai Mei (Kill Bill Vol. 2):

Master Tang (Kung Pow):

And the best movie mentor?

Mr. Holland (Mr. Holland's Opus):

(forgive the non-English. But it's the music that counts in the scene anyway. :))

Gandulf-LOTR

John Keating- Dead Poets Society

Michael Caine as Alfred from Batman Begins.

For me, it's a toss-up between these two...

...what? :woot:

Clint Eastwood's character Frankie Dunn in Million Dollar Baby.

Mel Gibson as Justin McLeod in The Man Without a Face.

That's all I could think of off the top of my head.

Donal Logue from Tao of Steve. He actually gives tips guys in the audience can use in real life. Some of them actually work too. ;)
