what television series had the best pilot that just got you hooked immediately?

to me it came down to 4 shows...Scrubs pilot was great, south park had an hilarious pilot. seinfeld had a good one, and dexter...

as of right now, Dexter takes the cake for me.

On Leather Wings IS a great pilot, HOWEVER, it wasn't the first episode aired. FOX premiered the show with The Cat and The Claw. So...by the time On Leather Wings aired we had already been introduced to the series.
