Best Protagonist Tournament

    I'm taking this honor from Soapy even before anyone suggesting it (in case no one did), while he's busy managing villains tournament I will handle this one.

    As that one, list your top 10 game heroes (main or secondary) from any generation, if you aim to choose a series with rotating main protagonist (i.e Tekken and King of Fighters) you can choose both if you like
    If you choose a character from Mortal Kombat, you may choose the second Sub-Zero for being one of the two main stars in the series, but not Scorpion, cause he leans more toward Shao Kahn's side

    EDIT: Nomination door came to an end

    EDIT 2: Only one shall pass each match in round 1. If two had a tie when the time for a round comes to an end, they will fight until the next round ends, if they are still tied by then I'll flip a coin

    I just realized, so many of my favorite games don't have a definitive protagonist.

    Uh...

    The Dragonborn (Skyrim) ...does that count? I guess it's not much different to nominating Shepard.

    What about characters who didn't originate in video games? If those are allowed I'd also like to nominate:

    If a series has more than one protagonist, you can the one(s) you like more than the rest

    Dangnit, now I have a burning forehead of shame
    Nope, did not talk or consult
    It will eventually come, didn't find shame in starting it sooner
    Misc Movies place have a couple of contests at the same time, took inspiration from that

    It's okay, I'm talking about games like Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings or Worms 2. There are literally no characters in those games :D

    Yea it's prob no big deal. I'd just suggest using soapys format for the most part. Seems to be working out

    Kazuya was a protagonist in the first game only, and was rightfully in the villain tournament list, so I won't count him here

    Well protagonist isn't a necessarily mutually exclusive role to that of villain. I think saying you liked Naked Snake in MGS3 as the protagonist isn't invalidated because he was an antagonist in the other games.
