What is the best film Martin Scorses has made, this decade, so far?

This is of course the first decade how won an oscar, for the Departed - my choice - but what do you think, adn why?

Gangs of New York cause Daniel Day Lewis kicks ass

The Departed ofcourse. The Aviator is very, very good aswell, but not as memorable as The Departed. Gangs of New York is pretty good, but lacks something.

And, damn, beware of Shutter Island. That **** is gonna be off the chain, I can't wait.

The Aviator followed by The Departed

The Departed is one of the best movies ive ever seen.

its a tough choice between gangs of NY and aviator. departed was good, but incredibly over rated.

The Departed. The Aviator and Gangs of New York are great films, but they don't come anywhere close to The Departed, imo.

I haven't seen Gangs of New York or The Aviator, so I can't make an educated vote.

I do love The Departed, though, so it might be hard to beat once I see the others.

I never got bored of watching The Departed. I only had one DVD when I went on vacation last summer, and I must have watched that film at least 5 times during my break. Plenty of great performances from some A-list actors, and it also has some hilarious scenes.

The Aviator, followed by Gangs Of New York. Not seen Shine A Light

Aviator. Not even close for me.

The Departed. Scorcese and Nicholson are back on home turf.

Dignam FTW

The Departed. No ****ing question about it. Classic Scorsese with a modern and Irish twist. And it really works! Everyone gave an A performance.

I do think Shutter Island will be Scorsese's next great gem though. I can't ****ing wait for that.

No Direction Home: Bob Dylan is Scorsese's best work this decade, IMO. Don't know whether it counts as a film or tv, but that's my pick.

Gangs of New York, just because it has grown on me every time I watched it, and shows a part of New York history & gang culture no one really talked about...

The Departed. I've got The Aviator on DVD but I still haven't watched it.

The Departed

The Aviator
is a close second. Didn't like GoNY that much.

The Departed was my favorite.
