best teaser...Superman Returns. Period.

Best trailer...eh this is tough for me...i might have to get back at you on this one, but 3 that stick out are Bourne 2, V for Vendetta, and, no denying, The Phantom Menace.

Two of the best would have to be The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake and Day After Tomorrow. While both movies were....lackluster...the trailers were brilliant.

And of course, the teaser trailer for J.J Abram's Untitled Project will go down in history.

i dunno why but this teaser made my excitement for this movie jump 10000's of levels. it may have been the music, the shots that were chosen, the simpleness of it, most likely all of that, but this is easily the best teaser ive ever seen.

For me The best teasers have been:

Cloverfield - I have no clue what the movie is about, but I am intrigued.

Superman Returns - Hearing Brando as Jor-El on the big screen gave me goose bumps

The x-men 3 Trialer showed a More Epic/ emotional film, which made it sell! lol... and what do we get? a short popcorn date flick

and they always put in those Epic Choirs Songs... they are like in every trailer now.. haha

Epic Choirs Music = Sells

they should do what The Dark knight did, they shoudl start putting music from the actual movies into the teaser so it feels like what the movie is actually going to feel like

Superbad r-rated trailer was amazing.
300 was pretty great.
Death Sentence was pretty good too.
