Doc and Sandman as a very close second. I voted Doc Ock though because they had a real challenge and they absolutely aced it.

And spare me the 'green goblin looked like a power ranger!!!11' smack. First, I never saw a Power Ranger with that costume, and secondly, a literal rag green and purple costume that the Goblin wore in the comics would look ridiculous in translation. But does it matter? Willem Dafoe knocked it out the park.

Not a villain, but Jonah/J.K. Simmons was simply remarkable. Not just the appearance but his characterization as well.

In terms of best looking - Doctor Octopus, no contest.
But as far as comic book accurate goes - Sandman by far.

Sandman.

Doc Ock looks nothing like the comics.

And if you ask COMICS to SCREEN; then Sandman wins.

But who could really mess that look up?

I do admit that there is such a thing as being overly literal. After the first time I saw SM2, my boyfriend left complaining, "It was nothing like the comics! They should have made it more like the comics!"
MP: You mean you think they should have put Fred Molina in the orange-and-green jumpsuit Ock wore in the comics?!
Boyfriend: :cmad: Yes!!
MP:

That's true, and Willem Dafoe did indeed knock it out of the park.

he wasn't in orange and green in his first apperance.

Dafoe's costume wasn't THAT bad.....its biggest downfall was the helmet hiding his already goblinesque face. It could have been much worse, Raimi could have dressed him in *shudders* black leather.

Ock wins by a mile though. Perfect adaptation of the character into the real world.

Sany and Venom were great too. Wow looking back at things we got some really fantastic villains as far as visuals are concerned.
