I think it would have made it a 3 horse race between itself, BH6 and HTTYD2.
I wouldn't be surprised if one of the "outsider" films wins though.

It's a rumour that's going round, but I doubt it.
Wall-E won the 2008 Oscar for Best Animated Feature, and that has a human in it LOL!

Very jealous how the US gets DVD/Blu double packs still. In the UK, it's 3D/Blu and nothing else. Guarantee the steelbook will be a 3D exclusive too :'(

Well it's now passed HTTYD2 as the highest grossing animated release of 2014 WW as of this last weekend. Looks to finish smack dab in the middle between Thor2 and MoS's WW numbers. $650m-ish WW. DOM as we know it'll have to settle for #2 well below TLM.
