Well He is supposed to be in the truck, Because he Climbs out and fires his machine gun at the bat pod.

I'd be interested in knowing where I can see him climbing out of the slaughter truck firing his machine gun at the batpod.

wow looking at it makes me think batman is gonna drive up on the joker (like he flew twods him in 89) and maybe joker shoots the gun and the batmobile goes boom? but i dout that would happen to a armored vehicle

so i think someone mentioned this before, but i think the best idea for the truck flip is the batpod shooting something underneath the truck which maybe sticks to bottom, then releases a huge amount of pressure or shoots up like a rocket sending it flying, cant wait to see what it is thats for sure

Alright, the smoke follows the truck all the way down. That wouldn't be from the air cannon or the crane; it was apart of the special effects. I originally thought those mines he used on the cops in Batman Begins. But clearly a semi is too big, I doubt those little bombs would be enough. He might use the cannons on the Batpod, they are showing blowing a car up easy. But the back of the truck, prior to it crashing, looks too intact. So I think a bomb underneath the semi. Maybe it was planted before hand?

Hypothetical: Joker is on the rampage, caravan of carnage, leaving destruction like a trail of breadcrumbs. (One scene shows the Joker on the back of his semi with an RPG) Batman shows up, cuts him off, semi flips Joker and his goons spill out onto the road. Batpod, Joker playing chicken yelling "Hit Me!"...final fight. You see the cops in the background with road blocks, "a freak...like me".

This is slightly off topic, but I just wanted to mention that Gotham at this point has possibly been evacuated due to the Joker's crime spree. In ALL these pictures and footage, you really don't see any other people (except Joker goons) or vehicles. My point is all the sequences of the Joker, including the 'mad Joker' photo with the crumpled up Big Rig behind him, could very well take place at way different points in the movie. If Gotham has indeed become a battle ground, I doubt the police or anyone else would be able to remove the carnage and wreckage left behind by the Joker, including police choppers and the Slaughter Semi.
