im gonna ask my buddy if its fine as is. or ill have to make the lines thicker. i do plan on having it larger then shown if i get it done.

and i guess youdidnt read above. me and wildcard are doing the avenger sets, with me doing the new avengers and him doing the ultimates. then i promised a punisher then thats probly it. glad you liked them but i wish sometimes people would read and not just look at the pics at times.

No, I don't read every post in a 25 page thread. Sorry. I scroll down each page, looking at the pictures. It would take hours to read everyone's art threads.
It's not a personal thing, I've just seen too many of them.

thats cool, i would have the outline of that back ground boarder a little thicker though, so you dont see that gap between that and the one leg, other then that, much better.

actually all his stuff looks copied... he just traced the lines in adobe illistrator or flash.. really easy to do and looks cool.. but hardly original.. and hardly something for him to get applauded for doing... its not like he took a blank aread and started from scratch...

actually all his stuff looks copied... he just traced the lines in adobe illistrator or flash.. really easy to do and looks cool.. but hardly original.. and hardly something for him to get applauded for doing... its not like he took a blank aread and started from scratch...

first off, wow, you have no idea why those were posted in here, i didnt do them, not at all, thats the original art work, a redid a logo for a kid on here, they got it from some heman art work, some dude then posted that in here saying i copied it.

i did nothing to those, those are the original pieces, if you were to read some around that post you would know

and the sketches youposted are indeed mine. i might go and do that venom head, but got to see time wise........glad you liked them

and for you to say im un original.........honestly, f you, i dont even care if i get bained for that. i will defend my art and my passion till i die. i put my heart in soul in my stuff. and usually the people that put me down cant even come close to what i do in illustrator. so go try it, see how un original it is.

ps. i was talking about most your art is just using the original pics.. i wasnt just talking about the he-man one... when u got lines to draw on top of (ya im and art major and know how illistrator works) its not hard at all..

original pics? sure, some of my stuff i work off of pics posted, but unless all these people were at the actual shooting of batman or spiderman, they are working off of original pics. and i would like to see how me illustrating images is any different from people photoshoping images togeather..... is that un original? im surprised to hear this from a fellow artist. most of them on this site understand what i do and see how much work and time i put into them. it goes with compostion , colors, shapes. to take an image of lets say, dave chappelle, and build on shapes and shades, change colors even add things to it and you get the image and gave it a new look, like so:

bud your getting way to diffensive.. your work right there is definately amazing, and i do think that is amazing, i definately think theres alot more craft in doing that to a photo or your own drawing then taking one from a comic or cartoon figure... (those dont count as much skill in my eyes) but what you show here is your own, and original... thats the skill i like in your work and like seeing... im just saying you should do more of it. Its much more interesting.

and for the record... unless you change a hell of alot in photoshop my rule stands the same with originality... hell have you seen some of these "fan made movie poster" on these boards? when nothing is changed much they look horrible, when alot is altered and done right they look amazing.
