Bioshock Infinite

Ehh, I wouldn't call it the city's heyday.

BioShock was set 14 years after Rapture was created, and BioShock Inifinte is set 12 years after Columbia was created.

Unless Rapture's heyday was only 2 years after it was created, then it all went downhill from there.

Not to mention an international incident that lead to its disappearance.

Bioshock Infinite is on the cover for the next GameInformer issue, this time they have 3 different covers.

I guess I picked a bad time to cancel my subscription. :/

That is an awesome cover. Gameinformer has been wowing with this cover and the Arkham City one.

So is that a big daddy with a little brother?

The man whose huge and has robotic parts are called Handyman. But so far we don't know if there's more or not since we have seen only one. There hasn't been a confirmation from Ken Levine if this game even takes in the same universe as Bioshock, so don't be surprised if some of the core element and stuff doesn't appear in this game.

I like his flag pants.

It seems judging from the pics, Columbia is very jingoism heavy.

So I guess instead of plasmids they have "vigors". Nice touch :)

Just beat Bioshock 2, can't wait for this

I know things can be done for visual impact, but since the trailer started off with a scale model of Rapture, I would assume it's the same universe. Just years before.

I don't think that was necessarily supposed to be Rapture, but rather just an allusion.

The thing is that Infinite is set in 1912. Whereas in Bioshock is set in 1960 and they built Rapture in 1946. There wasn't anything besides the the chores in the beginning and a quick model of a what could be a Big Daddy which may perhaps was there for the sake of misleading or a easter egg. And the scale model was for the Chicago world's fair in 1893.

Sweet.

That poster is excellent.

The best thing about that poster is that they have Native Americans as "foreigners". :funny:

The first gameplay footage, which is nearly 10 minutes long. Enjoy. :yay:

That looks epic as hell! I've never cared much about Bioshock before, maybe I should give the first ones a try.

Holy ******* ****!!!! :wow::wow::wow:

I've never been much of a FPS fan, and I played a little of the 1st Bioshock but didn't care much for it.

But, that was amazing!! I especially liked the use of the Telekinetic powers!!

This game is now officially on my radar!

Oscorp, you should definitely play the first Bioshock, it's a very excellent and engaging game. A modern classic to say the least.
