Bioshock: The Collection (PS4/Xbox One)

can't wait to play Infinite again as well as the 1st two games.

I'm glad you posted this, because it made me look through storage and realize that I actually still have my original copies of Bioshock and Bioshock 2. Now this makes me wonder if this collection is worth getting just to 1) have them all in one collection and 2) to play Bioshock Infinite.

I guess that depends on how much you care about graphics and how much you want to spend...Infinite can be found for cheap on PS3/360 and it is only going to get cheaper the closer the Collection gets.

Really? I thought the general thought about Infinite was that it was a good game, but a disappointment compared to the previous ones.

I'm in this boat.. It's a good game but IMHO I feel even 2 is better.. I never played any of the DLC tho and I was told that improves the game.

2K Games has released a new trailer for BioShock: The Collection dubbed “Revisit Rapture” and focused on the original BioShock.

The $59.99 collection, remastered by Blind Squirrel Games, includes BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite and all of each game’s downloadable content. It won’t include BioShock 2‘s multiplayer component, and BioShock Infinite won’t be remastered for PC “because it already meets current-gen console standards and runs smoothly on high visual settings.”

BioShock: The Collection is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 13 in North America and September 16 internationally.

Can't wait to play the masterpieces that BioShock, and Infinite are, the last one being my primary goal.

Infinite is actually my least favorite.. Just didn't click with me and I really missed rapture. That being said I heard the DLC makes it so much better.. And I never played those.

The DLC is great and it [BLACKOUT]takes place in Rapture[/BLACKOUT].

Just bought this so I'm looking foward to jumping back into these worlds.

Been playing Bioshock 1. It's a pretty good remaster. While the differences aren't staggering, everything looks nice and crisp. Gameplay is smooth. They need to adjust the audio levels though; any time a character speaks (outside of splicers), you can hardly hear them, even when adjusting the audio levels myself.

I never played the DLC for the first two games so I might pick this up sometime in the future. Already played through them all though so I'm in no hurry to get this.

i had never played Bioshock before so i bought the collection, seemed like a perfect opportunity, 3 games+ all DLC, cool.
Wow, i absolutely loved the experience of going through all the games, Bioshock is great, it feels a little dated now but i liked the gameplay and it was visually pleasing, Bioshock 2, i enjoyed but it felt like more of the same, i did enjoy playing as a big daddy, punching splicers with the drill is so satisfying and the big sisters were pretty cool mini-bosses.
But, Bioshock Infinite, wow, oh my ****ing god, never have i been so immersed in a game, ever, the gameplay is so good but the story, the characters, the graphics, its such a beautiful, weird, fun game, and it absolutely destroyed me emotionally, not only the ending but also the Burial at the Sea DLC, its truly a unique experience, i wish i had played it when it first came out to form part of the hype.
Honestly, if a Bioshock 4 is ever announced, i'd be there day one.

PS: I do prefer Rapture a bit more than Columbia tho.

Miracle of Sound has several Bioshock songs made and they're pretty awesome. They really fit the tone of the games.

Here's a link to them.
