Now I know the team behind this has a legendary reputation on the pc but seeing as I am pretty much a console only gamer, mostly due to a crappy pc, I know very little of them. But I have read a massive 8 page preview in a UK 360 mag and I think this will be fantastic. It really seems to be the first game that has ever effectivly shown a 'dead' society/world....the screenshots I have seen have really been quite emotional, but without using anything except the scenery. For example, there is a table with party hats on it, and a big neon sign saying 'Happy New Year, 1959'. I don't know why but that struck me as poignent and really sad, which is probably the only time the background in a game has made me have any type of emotional response (aside from 'wow this is sure pretty'). If the background alone can do that, I am expecting big things from this game.
