The other issue I have with this aside from it ****ing over the BoP, is that it's really doesn't show what exactly is suppose to be happening other than it being about Harley Quinn. At least with SS you got an idea about what the premise was. This film to me is the epitome of everything wrong with the DC side of things. I've got serious issues with how HQ has been transformed in the comics over the years from tragic sidekick to annoying anti-hero. You only have to look at how her costume has devolved gradually over the years to see this, to the point of hardly resembling what she is named after. And this movie just amplifies it further.

Did she? Harley's rise in popularity I'd argue has a hell of a lot more to do with cosplayers than her overall character. She didn't even make it to the comics as an actual character till almost 10 years after she began life on the animated series. I miss that Harley. But I also think her popularity has been significantly overestimated by WB.

If this movie fails then they won't get that so not really a good point. I get why people are pissed personally. It's just I'm getting a Harley film so.....yeah.

Hard to fail with a 60M budget, restrained budget, and an A-lister keen to involve herself in pumping out more female character films tho.

Box office already projecting 40-60M DOM, take 40M and legs with 2.5X, and 40/60 split worldwide, that's 250M expected for a 60M budget film.

It'll need to be Cats bad to fail, like opening with under 30M opening weekend, less than half of the lowest early projection

This looks dope. I understand fan complaints that there are too many changes from the comics but this honestly looks like a good film. Hope it delivers .

Seen the second trailer for the first time over the weekend and got to be honest it still did nothing for me.

I will still go see it and hope I am pleasantly surprised but in all honesty I just don't think it looks particularly good. And this isn't some hater rant nobody wishes I liked the look more than me as Margot was one of the best things about the Suicide Squad and I love Ewan McGregor.

I've never ready any Birds of Prey comics but even the cast feels bloated from the trailers, it doesn't look much different from Suicide Squad just this time its an all female line up.

Also and this might sound like a stupid complaint I don't think they baseball bat combat they are giving her looks particularly good or convincing. Was nothing wrong with giving her guns again I thought.

I find it odd people don’t seem to get this movie’s premise.

I mean it’s just a simple run from the bad guy movie.There is no beam in the sky or machine to stop.

This movie will live and die on how well the characters mesh or chew up the scenery.

It’s just a trailer, but I don’t recall the accent in Suicide Squad being as pronounced as it was here.

I feel the same way maybe cause in SS she was co-starring along with Wil Smith so he did most of the talking but now it's all her and it sticks out

Hopefully it's not as annoying as it sounds once u see it on the big screen

These are the “final” costumes. Canary has the fishnets, but the costume is black/blue instead of black.

Huntress doesn’t have a cape, but has a purple/black costume that has a white stripe down the front of it following the zipper. She has a domino mask but it is in the style of the comics (shaped like a diamond, very thin and doesn’t trace her eyes)

Trailer popped up on YouTube while we were watching Cats 1998 clips, so much for family friendly YouTube lol

Wife was around, she wasn't displeased, thought Harley was a mental girl and everyone else was normal, has said she wants to watch but need someone tbaby sit daughter lol, should we just sneak her in?

Hopefully a hard final push and some good reviews can push this over 60M or more and we get a sequel/spin off and maybe GCS
