Anyone like it? I did, too bad it was cancelled it got better ratings than Angel. I think it would have worked better if Huntress wore a mask, and Harley Quinn wore her costume. I really liked the final episode, which brought the series to a nice conclusion.

um...are you sure about it getting higher ratings than angel? I believe that was only for the pilot episode, then they were dropping like flies.

It was okay at first, but it soon soured for me. It wasn't on Smallville's level.

the only good part was when mark hamill voiced the joker in the pilot episode when the joker killed everyone and destroyed batman's life. that's it.

I wanted it to be good and watched 5 episodes waiting for it to get good, but they all sucked. Too much camp and cringe-inducing lines.

I liked it, but that's just because i'm desperate to see anything new, and Batman-related.

I like it alot, But I do agree with what some others have said though. It wasn't on Smallville's or Angel's level, But it was good.

I believe The Birds Of Prey were consistently getting 3.9 to 4.2 in the ratings and Angel was getting 3.8.

It deserved what it got. Anyone who would play TATU during a fight scene should be canned immediately. Simply a horrible show.

I prefer Angel to Birds Of Prey, Birds of Prey just finished over here in England, I liked it but It just lacked Batman, the joker etc.

I wasn't very good, Angel was much better.

It would have done better if it would of had a timeslot following Smallville. Why they didn't, I can't figure out. A new superhero show with a strong premier after an already strong superhero show. Could have been a ratings monster.

It got better every episode...except for gladiatrix, that was horrible.

where did all the bad guys go? was the joker the last one, and batman was like well i am out of here; towns your batgirl?

I found 1 line that made the show. It was when Barbra was talking about Dick, Jason, Tim and herself to Huntresses and she replied something like Batman was your mentor (or maybe it was hero damn I hate 4getting things) not mine. I really liked that and that was about it I hate meta humans have them were they are made ie Ivy Freeze not born with the abilities.

Simply... the overall atmosphere was NOT DARK ENOUGH. It is essentially a Batman spin off. Everybody was a little too happy with their situations. Oracle HAS NO LEGS, wet she is happy as anything. Huntress was independent as designed, but nowhere near angry enough. And Canary/Dinah, it's like they plucked that character right out of full house.

'Batman Universe' characters should be dark and brooding... even girls. It was just too happy most of the time. Example of what doesn't fit into this kind of show: Lets all hold hands to stop the villain at the end of the pilot episode. That's just stupid. THEY SHOULDA FOUGHT

That's why I didn't like the show too much. I too was interested, with the lack of Batman 'media' out there. But was severly dissappointed with the series.

PS. All of the villains were Lame.

PPS. I'd equate Birds of Prey with Lois and Clark. These two shows had similar quality. Smallville is far above both of these in quality.

That's how it was suppose to be originally, somewhere along the line they changed the lineup.

i will NOT dignify this thread with a response!

oops... i already did. :o

The only good thing was the first episode with batman.

The show was made for guys on hormones, that;s why there were three female leads in it.

It deserved to be canned.

There is a website called BirdsofPrey online that is trying to get the show back on, but it's run by someone who has no life...

I liked th show for what it was, yet it had flaws. I never expected much out of the series. I liked DIna Meyer and her portrayal. however..........................................................
I think if the show stuck to the formula that certain episodes had (for the instance the episodes featuring: Lady Shiva, Black Canary, Clayface, and the The final Episodes) it would ahve been a cool show. What those pisodes have that made them stand out? the link between past Batman/Batgirl Adventures and the Future Gotham Protectors. I wanted to see more things that would uncover the past of Batgirl and Batman, not random metahumans with horrible methods and motives. I would also wouldve liked to see past Batman villians or even the child of Batman villians come about. One of the tings i was liked was how Harley Quinn was transformed into a psychopathic yet serious main villian. If the show stook to a consisten Batman theme wiht Batman villians it would have been a great show. Not to mention with soem better script writing. Also, i think it would avebeen neccesary to ahve Dinah call herself Black Canary during the final episode.
