It's totally lacking, just like Batman Begins, it has no spirit. Man of Steel, way better! :supes:

I'd give MOS a 6/10 and Birthright a 4/10

There's never been an origin storyline that lives up to Superman

1: What does this have to do with Batman Begins? A comic versus a movie? Huh? And Batman Begins didn't have "spirit", uhm, whatever.

2: There is already a MoS vs BR orgin thread. Go there, quit wasting threads.

1. Batman Begins is an origin story. So is Birthright. It's fair to compare them in their respective mediums.

2. I agree with you on that one.

Movie > Comic.
Can't compare.

Grasping at straws if you think you can compare.

How is a movie instantly greater than a comic?

That just might be the single greatest contradiction I've ever seen.

Movie > Comic, yet they can't be compared. Smart.

I like Strength better than both of them!! The three parter with the Alex Ross covers. It may not be an origin story but it still kicks ass!
