black and grey.

Superman gets the blue not the bats.

My head says black and grey.

My heart longs for blue and grey.

Black and Grey. Movie Batman only wears black and sometimes very, very dark grey.

Kevin Smith: See? @ZackSnyder gave us the Batman suit we always wanted: https://***********/ZackSnyder/status/466249462348644352 … BIG, FAT, BLACK BAT all across his face, neck and chest!

seems to confirm it's going to be black and grey

I think it's black and grey, but would be happy with either.

Fantastic.

Im fine with blue and grey in the comics, but prefer black costume in the movies.

Black & Grey seems the way to go but something about these Blue & Grey pics just look so freaking cool! I wouldn't mind either to be honest. I would like a palet of suits put on display in the batcave tho! Give me one of everything lol !!!

I'm expecting and wanting black and grey.

Symbol could be black but cape, cowl, boots, and gloves could be blue like the Arkham Asylum suit.

I believe it to be prodominantly black and gray but would prefer blue and gray just like the manip above.

Why blue? That was just an aesthetic conceit from the comics to highlight the black of the cape/cowl and make him stand out against the shadows back in the days of simple half-tone printing. It's not meant to be taken literally.

nope it's blue

Wow. From one artist's book! Irrefutable proof! :whatever: You can keep posting pics of blue capes and cowls all day just so long as I can keep posting pictures of all black ones!

Curious. Did you actually read my post about artistic license/aesthetic conceits? Well, I'll explain it again: The colour blue was often used in comics to highlight areas we're meant to understand are black (particularly back in the simple half-toned printing days). Over the years, it seems that this was taken a bit literally by fans that don't understand artistic shorthand-hence the literal-minded insistence that the cape/cowl should be blue. Again, something that works well in the comics, but not so much as a direct/literal translation to film. At least Snyder got that right :yay:

The blue started out as a highlighting tool, but ended up being more and more dominant and literal as time went on. So both are right. :D

Superman thinks it's blue.

Me and ME! :yay:

Yeah that's what I want too. I really don't like the emblem and didn't like it in TDKR but I'm used to seening it.

I can dig both (and even all-black too) all depending on context and execution.

 Should've known this existed somewhere on the interwebs. Thanks! :yay:

I have a feeling that some might think that Clark and Bruce's hair was blue (as blue was used as a highlight) if they weren't told otherwise. Some people just can't see past the most literal interpretation of what they are presented with.
