Maybe Zsasz is the opening scene take down that we see rather then Bats taking down Scarecrow? Seems like a cool way to keep continuity as well as start off with a bang.

Good idea. Like a hostage situation where he's already killed a few, and he's marking his arm when Bats crashes in. Chase ensues.

He's also a good bridge between the mobsters and the arrival of the freaks, being a bit of both.

yes i would also like to see zsasz back.

shame about black mask. i was hoping he would be in the film, but where would he really fit in? could see him possibly in the third film because i think eckhart will struggle to hold the film as the only villian. joker will probably be in and out of arkham and possibly something to do with the final main scene. i think if they are to do any origin story with the joker, it should also be left until the third film.someone like di caprio as sionis/black mask in the third film against both bruce and batman would be pure gold.

Sarsgaard is Maggie Gyllenhaal's husband in real life. They just had a kid together actually.

Actually they're not married, they're engaged and haven't set a date yet according to their interview before the Oscar's on the red carpet.

I like BM as a character but with no backing yet and with Dent and Joker already in TDK plus the mob situation I feel like introducing a new character is a little much, hence my Zsasz takedown idea at the beginning of TDK because he is already est. within the MOVIE mythos.

I never said you lied. All i asked you was the name of the radio station you heard Tim Booth saying that he was coming back for the sequel.You never answered that question til this day i think.

I'm okay with a return of a (darker) Zsaz and hopefully Scarecrow too. Thats something that was lacking in the 90's movies. Villains would appear once and never again even if they didn't kick the bucket.

I love the idea of a recurring villain, a series nemesis. They've continued the Goblin thread all the way through the Spidey-movies and it's worked great.

I like if they dont drop the ball on continuity for TDK. My only pet peeve is the recast move. I think Paul Blackthorne would be good as Black Mask.
