The Dark Knight Black Mask or Zsasz in TDK ?

Maybe it turns out Roman's father, or even Roman himself was at Bruce's party? Would be a nice surprise. But then again, how much of Roman's past can we really get to know? I mean, this movie already has to explore a darker Batman, the new career of Gordon, the new DA, the faith of Rachel, The Joker... is there really more room for Roman's backstory?

Good Point

Well they can do it like Scarecrow/Crane type thing, small scenes but important to the story.

DiCaprio needs to be Sionis since he lost out on Dent. His chemistry with Bale would be electrifying.

I dont think so. Seee, Crane's hsitory is interesting, but not crucial to his character. We just needed to know he was interested (or maybe obsessed) with fear. That was enough. But what Roman went through, well that basically built the character. The dropping on the head, the cold parents, the cold social life, the murder of his parents the taking over the company, the crap, his fiance leaving, the "humiliation" when Bruce helped him.... it all built up to becoming The Black Mask.

First of all this is an idea I had for sometime, We start from Bruce helping Roman Sions with his bankrupt company but Wayne Enterprise take-over does not please Roman of course so he'll go to Boss Maroni asking him to kill Bruce Wayne but rejected by Maroni he say "I got bigger fish to fry" than we see Joker going against Roman but does not kill him “Here, use one of your masks” which sticks on Roman we see Joker laughing “Masks do suit you.”

That’s all I got so far, I know isn't good.... :o

Benicio Del Torro will be good. Nothing on Dicaprio because he's really shining of late as an actor but he really looks so young.
Good for him though because while other actors age fast and wanting job security, Dicaprio will have no worries on that.

Peter Sarsgaard

Screw DiCaprio

you're my new best friend. though i'm not too keen on Sarsgaard. sure Sionis is a cosmetics mogul but that doesnt mean he has to be a pretty boy. I've said it before, i'll say it again: Karl Urban. he's not a pretty boy but he has enough presence to demand respectability, yet can be a little rough around the edges too. Plus, Urban's a versatile actor and he's around Bale's age.

I will also say screw DiCaprio, but only for the role of Black Mask, cause I dont see him in tat roel due to his small physique. BUT I would love to see him in some Batman movie. The man is a great actor. He fooled us all with Titanic, but Aviator, Gangs of New York, and mostly the Departed and Blood Diamond all prooved to us that this man CAN ACT, and is good at it.
The thing is, he has done so many... hmm dont hold me for that word, "respectable movies", I feel he would not be interested in a Batman flick.

As for Black Mask: Man, I would say Daniel Day-Lewis, but I think he would be great in any role, even Rachel ;) so trying to be a bit more realistic, I would say Sarsgaard or that guy who plays Michael on Prison Break.

Guy Pearce would be great for Black Mask. My second choice would be either Leonardo DiCaprio or Mark Wahlberg.

Oh dicaprio is not small he's around 6"1 and he could bulk if needed.
Karl urban would be a great choice and for those thinking he's not a pretty boy, well I don't understand that, he's good looking enough, roughed and about bales size or even an inch higher, plus he definitely has the acting chops. So I say he would be a great choice for the role of sionis/black mask.

Imperioli would be perfect because he has more of a skin tone of a eastern european.

And what is an Eastern European skin tone?

Dominic West of 300 and The Wire could work well.

i think David Boreanaz (Angel) would make a terrific Sionis/Black Mask

he defiantely has the looks and acting chops to pull it off

this guy was actually my number two choice for Batman right behind Christian Bale

I agree, I thought he would have made a good batman, but Id liek him for Black Mask even better. I think Bale and him would clash in a good way.

Yeah, Boreanaz was one of my top choices for Batman as well. Anyone who's seen Buffy/Angel knows what he can do. Cool guy, I could see him as Black Mask.

David Boreanez is an interesting choice, but would he be available since he has that show Bones?

And would Leo or Walhberg actually be interested in the Black Mask? Its not the most glamorous role for actors that are as well known as them. Because as a villain they will be playing second fiddle to the Joker.

It's a difficult question. It's pretty amazing that Arnold Schwarzenegger agreed to play Mr Freeze, but he did, for reasons known only to himself...

On the DVD, Arnold admitted he took the role because Schumacher told him "If you don't play Mr. Freeze, I'm not making this movie."

It's like the old proverb goes -

"Guilt is the quickest way to get an Austrian into glittery blue bodypaint."

David Boreaz is a good choice too but his TV schedule might be a concern. Ray Liotta is good too but he needs to lay off getting trouble with the law.LOL!
