Yea if ol big Al was cast then i would fear it would be more about him than Batman/Bale. But the idea of Pacino in a Bat film is quite tempting.

I don't think Nolan would let that happen. Plus Rachel and Dent are dead so there would be more room for screen for either Bruce/Batman and whatever villian they choose.

I'm not talking about the character having enough room, i'm talking about it being Al Pacino. Do you know what i mean? I would of loved to see Al in a Bat film but i fear if he was cast the whole production would be overshadowed by him and focus would be taken away from Bale.

Phillipe might be a good Black Mask.....DiCaprio would be solid, but Casey Affleck might be more ideal overall because of the creepy look he has.

Affleck kinda has that Joaquin Phoenix look to him.....

I had that Idea as well. If you have Black Mask as a villain you could have him hire Deadshot or Bane as assains to take down Batman.

Or Deathstroke. Obviously not a metahuman Deathstroke, but I think he could be adapted for this Bat-verse. Just like a highly durable ninja who matches, if not betters Batmans hand to hand combat skills. I'd love to see a scene where Batsy and Slade are fighting it out on the rooftops of Gotham. We haven't really seen an epic toe to toe, mano e mano scrap yet have we? We got a little taster at the end of BB but I mean a proper, 20 minute long, bone crunching tear up.

I like Viggo for Red Skull in Cap more but he is an awesome mobster type and could definitely play Black Mask.

I always liked the idea of Rufus Sewell as Black Mask. His not exactly one of the A-List type actors names that are being talked about but that shouldn't stop people casting actors that aren't on E! News.
