Weak, very weak. Black Mask has a lame origin story and no interesting modus operandi. He's just a sadistic gangster in a mask. There's no way that can succesfully follow TDK, even if you throw in Bane for good measure.

I think if they brought him to screen they would give him a massive overhaul anyway to at least make him more interesting.

I could see Daniel Craig, Joaquin Phoenix, Rufus Sewell, or Viggo Mortensen as Black Mask, but I have my doubts about whether he could be done without seeming like a second-rate Joker replacement. Another sadistic, disfigured lunatic who usurps the Gotham mob?

I was thinking, maybe they could do the third like a gangster movie sorta style. Show Black Mask taking over all the rackets, shooting his way to the top like Al Capone but even more crazy and violent.

I think his origins could be slightly adapted by Jon Nolan, there is good potential with a BM IMO

Based on his very arrogant and wealthy role in The Count of Monte Cristo, I've always thought that Guy Pearce as Roman Sionis would make a good opposite to Bale's Bruce Wayne.

I dont think Star Trek is really a waste. It has some potential but in general its a high profile summer blockbuster directed by a guy who is kinda on fire right now. How could he say no?

Man, a younger Willem Dafoe would be perfect. Now he's just a charachterization of himself. cough, cough, walken.
I just think that putting the cops and a team of assassins up against Batman in this thing would be freaking awesome. Kinda like "Smokin' Aces" - terrible movie but a cool idea of following everyone trying to catch the prize.

I don't know if this idea would have been posted but i could see Neal McDonough he played a pretty mean villian in walking tall and he has been cast as street fighters uber bady bison in the next street fighter film so you know he can pull of evil and insane

actually i would like to see Tom Hollander (of POTC fame) as penguin..he's definitely got the demeanor down pat.

Clive Owen=Cool except too old bruce and roman are supposed to be around the same age. But if Nolan decides not to worry about that he would be a good choice

Leonardo DiCaprio=I always picturing Black MAsk with a deep voice which he doesnt have

Viggo Mortensen= Too old. Great actor but i dont think for this role

Benicio Del Toro= I dont even know he doesnt scream Black Mask to me

Michael C Hall- Great actor, wrong role

Josh Brolin= Same thing as michael c Hall

He isn't too old, infact i think he is roughly the same as Bale. And didn't anyone notice Bale in TDK? He looked much older than he really is.

I would say the biggest potential problem with Owen is that I've yet to hear him do an American accent. So either he hasn't tried, I've never seen the movie, or he can't do it.
