I'm assuming Deckard is officially a human in this or are they still going to leave it ambigious?

I think it looks fantastic, and I love my nostalgia as long as it is good.
I think it looks good as well. At the same time, I never felt like the original needed a sequel either. It's almost kind of like making a sequel to Brazil or Twelve Monkeys IMHO.
I somewhat agree but with anything if it can be done well I say go for it. The one thing that makes me interested in it is the book actually dealt a lot more with society and how it works in the future, the hierarchy etc. Where Blade Runner did none of that. It seems from the synopsis of 2049 they are digging more into that aspect of Dick's work.
The Nexus7 replicant has human tissue and skin that ages normally like Arnold in Genisys
I agree. Watching the Total Recall remake showed me how good the bleak future in Blade Runner looks in our modern time.
Good point.

Any word about Rachel in the sequel, anyone knows ?
She'sprobably has been written out.
I hope she's not a CGI cameo...![]()
She's being recast with Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Sweet lord.
The cinematography makes every other cbm look like an old poop stain.
