When is the trailer supposed to drop?

Not that I don't trust you guys but where does it say Wednesday for the new trailer?

I saw the IMDb twitter account say Wednesday, but they're the only ones I've seen say that.

How the hell did I miss Ana de Armas is a lead in this? She genuinely looks laboratory made, that's how perfect looking she is. Brilliant casting.

It would be funny if her and Leto shared some scenes together. She looks like she could be Harley herself.

"Every civilization was built off the back of a disposal workforce. We make angels, but I can only make so many. Happy birthday."
BOOM! For some reason I imagined it being said with Ledger's Joker voice. But I hope Leto's character doesn't resemble his own Joker in any way.

Ana de Amais is indeed looks like a doll.
Haha :funny: God I hope whatever he does here stops the hate for this poor dude
Leto is hated?

How's her acting though?

Well, duh. Ever since the little sending out condoms story he was ridiculed and then it just kept getting worse
Didn't know it's still a thing. It felt like Leto got away with everything. Condoms, poor Joker performance, Razzie nom. Mostly thanks to BvS and great BO performance of SS.
She gave one of the worst performances I've seen in my entire life in Knock Knock (atrocious, atrocious movie) but she was all right in War Dogs
That bad, huh? Never saw anything from her, except for a few clips. :sly: I hope Villeneuve will cast his magic on her and she ends up being decent or hopefully even great.

I'm not sure Villeneuve has magic when it comes to acting. I don't credit him for one of the few aspects of Prisoners which I liked - Gyllenhaal's work. I think in his movies if the actor is good he will play well but if someone's hit or miss...the girl has allure so if her character is more like Rachael then it will work but if she is more like Hannah's character, who knows.

I frequent a lot of celebrity gossip websites, for fun and the snark directed at Leto is still strong. The only people who don't seem to ridicule him seem to be the ones who either liked Squad or are fans of his. Recently when the news about Tron reboot broke the most 'oh no' part for the people commenting on it seemed to be Leto's involvement

I didn't mean it in a sense that Villeneuve will turn a "model" actress into an Oscar-winning performer. Villeneuve makes good films and I hope it affects Armas in a positive way.

I remember only one "bad" performance - Jeremy Renner in Arrival (though I didn't watch ALL Villeneuve films). I certainly didn't expect it from an actor like him. Not sure what was wrong, but I feel he was just a miscast.

I liked Renner, I found him more alive than whatever Adams was doing in there :sly:

My big worry is Gosling. Hopefully this is nothing like his acting in Only God Forgives. Amas can't ruin the film, he can. And it's a tricky kind of role. I actually find Ford in Blade Runner the least charismatic or interesting he has ever been

It's actually opposite for me. Adams was very much the only thing in the film that made me feel involved. Renner was flat and it looked like he had no idea what kind of character he played.

Ford is very unlikable in the film. Add there on-set frustration. And I think it worked in favor of the character he played. Gosling is a wild card, it can go either way, but I'm somehow more worried about veteran actors. If not their performances, I feel they will be stuffed into the film for episodic cameo's sake to attract "old fans". Not to mention that rumor about digital version of a classic character... I hate these digital faces with passion. Rogue One - creep-fest.

Huh... I always though this was a WB release.

Deckard isn't a very likable character, but I don't think he was really meant to be. In some ways Batty is more sympathetic than him.
