I presume 70 year old Deckard at the very least means he's a human.

Bautista in Blade Runner 2 is amazing.

Not if Ridley Scott has anything to say about it. :funny:

Now, what about that decades old debate about whether or not Deckard is a Replicant? Consider it over! “Of course he’s a bloody Replicant! He’s going to have to admit it.” But wait, don’t they die after four years? “I’m not going to tell you. You’ll have to see the story. It’ll all make sense.”

I love the guy. He's got so much passion for his movies and he's a master. Loved that 'The Martian' has brought him back into the minds of the average moviegoer. Post 'Gladiator' it hasn't been so good for him.

He's my all time favourite director honestly.

Officially confirmed.

Dave Bautista joins the BladeRunner sequel http://thr.cm/YjGjrq

Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista has joined the cast of Alcon’s Blade Runner sequel.

The former wrestling star now joins Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford and Robin Wright in the sci-fi project, being directed by Denis Villeneuve, the acclaimed filmmaker behind drug drama Sicario.

Other plot details are being kept under wraps, but it is known that the story takes place several decades after the conclusion of the 1982 original and that Ford is reprising his role as replican

Sweet, I' am glad Bautista is getting some big roles after his last crappy run in wrestling.

Joe Walker (Film Editor on Villeneuve's last two movies Sicario and Story of Your Life) will be the editor on BR2 http://bit.ly/23pivgX

Walker has already signed on for the director’s highly anticipated Blade Runner sequel, due in 2018.

So what's your guy's favorite cut of Blade Runner?

1. Final cut
2.Directors cut
3. Theatrical cut
4.International cut
5.Workprint cut

hope Bautistas Character i a little bit like Drax from GOTG

I hope Bautista plays a professor of philosophy in the movie.

Bladerunner is one of the movies closest to my heart.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this.

At its very worst I can put this film on mute and be assured of Deakins' cyberpunk goodness. I can't believe we're going to see sci-fi done by him. The budget better be significant so they can fully bring this world to life.
