Blade Runner Final Cut is Coming

Yea the voice overs were crap. The brilliant part of Blade Runner, for me anyway, was that it left things to the viewers imagination. I don't want every little nuance spelled out for me, I prefer to figure it out myself.

Exactly! I believe we were speaking on a similar subject yesterday but in regards to TDK, was we not?

It's a growing trend that people want things force-fed to them, taking a simple idea and being beaten around the head with it until there is only one possible explanation for whatever is in question.

Yep, I don't understand how people would prefer it like that. It's okay in your generic popcorn action fest, but in truly deep, meaningful films like this what's the point of having it spelt out for ya? It takes away from the beauty of the film.
