Anyone read the novel?

This could make for an interesting story.

Nice cast, interesting story. I could get into this.

Sounds intriguing and it has a good cast.

I'll try and access it in a minute, MSN video doesn't always play for me.

Just got it to work, interesting looking movie, has a pretty interesting washed out look and quite a Children of Men feel to it.

Cool, i'll be sure to view it once I get home...Thanks

I am reading the novel for a class and am about halfway through. It's a really creepy book and has an almost zombie-movie quality to it. The teaser is good and definitely has me intrigued :woot: Hopefully it can capture being helplessly blind as well as the book does.

The teaser is at http://blindness-themovie.com/ too

Saw this yesterday at Helsinki International Film Festival. It was good. Reminded me a lot of 60's/70's dystopic flicks. Though it was a little disappointment, because I had too high expectations. Julianne Moore has couple of nice "in-your-face" -moments.

Supposedly this got a very blah reception at Cannes and they had to do major re-edits. I'll be interested to see how critics respond to it now that it's been officially released.
