Playstation Bloodborne

Sounds like a d**k-measuring contest is going on.

I wish the critical attack had a cooler animation. Killing a boar from the back with one of those critical attacks looks like you are sticking ur hand up its butthole and pulling out its heart. Which, as I type that, sounds pretty cool.

I beat all the main game bosses and got all three endings (uploading/downloading the save to PS+) and I'm now working my way through the Chalice Dungeons to get the last three remaining trophies for the Platinum.

Got through the endings at Level 77, and just shy of 28 hours. :woot:

The Chalice dungeons are no joke, though, and I'm only on the 3rd "depth".

The Chalice Dungeons are the co op stuff right?

The Chalice Dungeons are randomly generated dungeons that you can go through, get some loot, fight bosses, etc.. Some of them let you add different modifiers and you can share a dungeon you get with other people. There's a set of pre-made ones that end in a unique boss.

The co-op works like same as the rest of the game.

Ah ok. Yea Iv been trying to figure that out. To get the dungeons you have to the 3rd boss no? And then to get co op help, U need insight and like the summoning bell? Is that how it works?

You get the first Chalice from the Blood-Starved Beast boss, and then you can start making them in the Hunter's Dream. Making them uses special materials, some you can only find inside the Dungeons, and you get other chalices throughout the game.

Co-op uses the summoning bell, and ringing it does require 1 insight. However, in my time I only managed to get it to work once, and then guy bailed before I entered the boss room.

Yea I just beat the Blood Starved Beast(with the help of someone I summoned to my game).

Gonna check out the dungeons next

hey guys, a few questions.

1. Once you start the game, is there any way to change your character's appearance?

2. Is it possible to stick with the starter weapon and just upgrade that weapon till endgame?

I just started over again and this time chose the Threaded Cane as my 1st weapon. I'm really digging the Whip form.

If I wanted to use this as my primary weapon until endgame, would it be possible to do so through upgrading/levelling up the weapon?

Is there a more powerful version of the Threaded Cane weapon elsewhere in the game?

3. And, when I press up on the D pad, the character injects herself with something. What exactly does that do?

thanks.

1. No, but you'll be wearing things over your face for the majority of the game, I wouldn't worry about it.

2. Yes, but some of the later weapons have better stat-scaling. There are plenty of the materials needed for leveling up weapons to +9, so be sure to try out later ones as you go along (Ludwig's Holy Blade is a thing of beauty). There is only 1 of the final upgrade material in the main game (you can get more from harder chalice dungeons but it's exceptionally rare), so I would save the +10 for when you're sure you have found your weapon of choice.

But yes, if you really wanted to you could use it all the way, but you'd be missing out if you didn't try other things as you got them.

3. Up on the D-Pad will take a chunk of life in exchange for 5 "blood" bullets.

thank you very much!

Soon to finish this game. I'm really enjoying the atmosphere of the game and setting.

I don't think im anywhere close to the end. I just beat my 3rd boss and will be headed to the Cathedral Ward next to take on Vicar Amelia. Altho I did just spend an hour grinding so that I could purchase the Holy Blade.

My dude.

I just took down the Watchdogs after several crazy attempts. The Defiled Chalice halves your HP for the duration and it is as crappy as it sounds.
