According to the link up above, Ryan Phillippe WAS in the mix to play Harvey Dent, but as far as we're concerned, WB has choosen to go with (and most certainly the better choice) Aaron Eckhart.

P.S. Ryan Phillippe or Jamie Foxx? Which would've been worse?

I'm pretty sure he was a WB choice - don't forget, Flags of Our Fathers was a film that carried a lot of Oscar buzz and guess which studio was behind that film.
