Well Name it!

My mine would be:

"CASINO ROYALE 2"

"RED DRESS"

"DEATH TO US PART"

"KISS OF A LADY"

Yeah teah I know titles are crap!
:(

Well, these are all Fleming titles:

A WHISPER OF HATE

RISICO

MY ENEMY'S ENEMY

THE EYE THAT NEVER SLEEPS

I thought Ian Fleming wrote 14 books? and that 007 producers used all the Fleming titles afrer CR.

EDIT i chose "A WHISPER OF HATE" for BOND 22, sounds cool

You're right in the basics - Fleming wrote 14 books, but there are many chapter titles left to be used (THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH, for example, was a chapter title of Fleming's).

THE EYE THAT NEVER SLEEPS and A WHISPER OF HATE come from chapter titles.

RISICO is a short story title, as would be two others that have not been used: QUANTUM OF SOLACE and THE PROPERTY OF A LADY.

MY ENEMY'S ENEMY is actually from Fleming's writing notebook as a suggested title (from the proverb, "My enemy's enemy is my friend"), but was never actually used as a title in his lifetime.

Two-Face, your suggestions weren't crap, it's really hard to think up Bond titled especially  Out of yours I like KISS OF A LADY. Agentsands77 I'm liking "MY ENEMY'S ENEMY" out of those suggested. Both would suit these new, supposedly (And hopefully) more personal Bond stories. I also wouldn't mind the following...

WHITE WINTER - In reference to the man who might become the next Blofeld, Mr White, as well as whatever the plot might be.

HIGH STAKES - Being this will be a continuation of Casino Royale it acknowledges it's predecessor. The plot would be Bond risking more than he should after taking a mission personally when it involves Le Chiffer and Vesper Lynd worked for.

(Editted for spelling)

Thanks Hatter, I like "HIGH STAKES"

So it's like mini Bond series? I like to see read them and I liked Casino Royale.

Agentsands77, I knew Fleming wrote 14 books but never heard other titles you mention are they any good?

Most of Fleming's books are good, but the best are CASINO ROYALE, FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE, and YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE. You read those and you'll have read the best the literary Bond has to offer.

The short story collections from which some of those titles come (FOR YOUR EYES ONLY and OCTOPUSSY & THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS are the titles of the short story collections) are definitely worth checking out as well.

Gold, Blood, and Death
Die Your Blood Gold
Goldenblood
To Die For
Written in Blood
The Secrets of Death
British Idol
Triggerfinger
ScornBurger
Bullets Speak Louder Than Words
Death Is Faster Than Life
HeartSplatter
Casting Stones
Dr. McAbre
Steel the One
Fire in the Hole
High Tea on the High Seas
Death by Chocolate
Lies, Spies, and Things That Explode
CGI Galore

Wow, you know you're stuff. Cheers mate.

I like A Whisper of Hate, Property of a Lady and Risico a lot, I wonder what could be the plot attached to these titles though. I would also suggest Multiple Requiem, a chapter's title from Thunderball.

i like "My Enemy's Enemy". i dont know if it was already a title for a bond book, but it would be perfect for a story that dealt with Bond/MI6 needing to work with a known criminal to stop a worse criminal. something along those lines.

uh... do we actually know the plot to the next movie? that might make coming up with a title a little easier..

Maybe we could try to invent a plot that would come with the title.

What if Bond has to fight a villain on a bus, and if that bus goes above 50, it'll explode. "It's like Speed 2, except instead of a boat, it's on a bus!" Good ol' Milhouse

Property Of A Lady was going to be Dalton' third movie I believe, I like that title the most....

actually, i'd heard that, too, but my latest understanding is that that was only a rumor, and the 3rd Dalton film had never been officially named...

MI6 has been putting out a lot of information about this 3rd planned Dalton film lately... here are the articles they have about it so far...

Act I - http://www.mi6.co.uk/sections/articles/bond_17_act1.php3?t=&s=articles
Act II - http://www.mi6.co.uk/sections/articles/bond_17_act2.php3?t=&s=articles

I dont think the new Bond film should be a direct follow up....like a "to be continued" thing....

I believe I don't think, "to be continued" thing won't happen since in Bond movies there is no continuity anyway... only in first three or four Bond movies were in continuity that I'm not sure?

Yeh I agree but because their starting fresh with this Bond I hope they don't try to link the two films too much together. I hate things like that, even with Star Trek Enterprise with the Xindi thing....boring.

Actually, BOND 22 will continue story threads from CASINO ROYALE according to the producers.

Judging from the script, it's easy to see what direction that will take. BOND 22 will likely feature a driven and intense Bond on a mission to take down those responsible for some of the events of CASINO ROYALE. So if you remember the pre-title sequence from DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER with Bond tracking down Blofeld, imagine something like that spread out over a whole film.
