is it me or has bonds childhood been changed from a priveledge son who's parents died in a climbing accident(goldeneye) to craig's middle class orphan?who went on to oxford then the navy

He was. His parents died in a climbing accident in Chamonix, and he was entrusted to his aunt in her "small cottage." He then attended Eton and Fettes.
