Bought/Thought 06/03/10 *SPOILERS*

Better get some thoughts out before the new comics arrive tomorrow.

Joker's Asylum II: The Riddler

This is such a great series of one-shot stories. I'm glad the first one was so well received that another bunch was ordered up.

The first focuses on love, namely The Riddler falling for a gal, and the gal wanting nothing to do with him. Every attempt fails, and eventually he tries to make good with his life. (This is long before his more recent attempts at working on the side of good.) The story even has a riddle that the reader must solve; and, I can't say I know for sure who the mystery villian is. Anyone else read this and figure that out?? :woot:

FrankenCastle #17

Well, they changed the name of the title of this book; and, while it's an enjoyable read, I also have a couple problems with the book. Namely, why is Frank looking for people to exact revenge on when you'd think he'd want to get back at the hoods who made him the way he currently is??!!??

This issue starts a new storyline, and I find myself more interested in the other characters and monsters more than Frank. Frank just kind of goes back to his old ways...although, he's still thinking very much about The Hood bringing his family back from the dead. It's interesting enough...but, if it went back to the old Punisher tomorrow, I wouldn't care that much.:yay:

Thanos Imperative #1

I came away a bit disappointed with this first issue, especially after the great one-shot that preceeded it. Frankly, I don't want to see Thanos fighting on the side of good; and, I can care less about The Fault. I do want to look up when the Ravengers appeared in Marvel Comics, though.:yay:

The Stand: Hardcases #1

Where the last series of issue focused on the good guys, this set of Hardcases features characters on their way to the Dark Man. For those like me who've read the book numerous times, you'll love meeting the Trashcan Man again. Plus, it was neat to see The Kid, too. Love seeing him get what's coming to him.

Stephen King's N. #4

Final issue to this comic adaptation of one of King's short stories. It's pretty creepy, especially when you think about how many people would be driven to go to a haunted location just to see it for themselves, regardless of what they've heard has happened there before. :yay:

Ender In Exile #1

New chapter of the Ender series, in which the government seriously wants to make sure Ender never arrives back on Earth. His military brilliance is considered too much of a threat if he got into the wrong hands; so, they send him off another mission to remove him from the equation. :yay:

Haha! I find that humorous because of all of the FrankenCastle hate around here. Nice too see I'm not the only one enjoying it.:up:

OH ..ITS OUT NOW?....I'M missing some issues ...ohhh boy
