One of the few actors in their early 30s I've seen that I could believe having a Bat-Family. No clue on his acting though.Tom Bateman
6' 2"
age 33 (should be at least 35 by the time production starts)

Bing Chat is still kinda dumb. All those actors for Andy Muschietti and no mention of Bill Skarsgard?
I think he's a fantastic actor, and his performance in Steve Jobs is one of my favorites from the 2010's, but even beyond him shifting his career path towards racing he has a very serious allegation levied against him - the kind that might make gunn/wb think twice about hiring him if it ever gets more widely covered.Thinking about it more deeply, Fassbender might not be as much of a pipe dream as I initially thought.
The man spent years trying to spearhead the development of an Assassin's Creed cinematic franchise, one that if succesful was probably gonna tie into videogames and other projects much like what Gunn wants to do here. He's clearly comfortable being in blockbusters, and a character like Batman seems like it'd appeal to him. I know he's semi-retired now from acting because of his focus on racing, but the prospect of being Batman on something as ambitious as this might be enough to pull him back in. At least, looking at his filmography it'd be really hard for me to think he wouldn't be tempted to do it. And as far as choices go, I think nobody can deny he'd give an absolutely stellar performance.
The biggest problem for him though is that he's probably at the very upper limit of what I'd imagine the age range for this Batman would be. And looking at images of him during the past year, well...

He definitely looks his age lol. I love him and I think he'd be a dream come true, between him and Pace I almost can't decide who'd be better for Morrison's Batman, but I just don't know if he's what Gunn would want for this at this stage. I've been a proponent of an older Batman for this for a while, but past 45 currently might be pushing it, even though he does strike me as someone that could remain pretty athletic even going into his 60s.
That's a complicated topic to talk about, as I do think the accusations against him are extremely damning, but...I think he's a fantastic actor, and his performance in Steve Jobs is one of my favorites from the 2010's, but even beyond him shifting his career path towards racing he has a very serious allegation levied against him - the kind that might make gunn/wb think twice about hiring him if it ever gets more widely covered.

I’m still holding out for Pierce Brosnan as Alfred

I kinda doubt they'll go as old as 50+ for this take, but in case they did, it's interesting to consider the possibilities for that age range:Depends on the angle which I imagine will be the opposite of The Batman with it's younger Bats to distinguish itself.
The DCU Bruce Wayne/Batman is supposed to be the head of the "Bat family" as some have said is in the source material.
So someone older... a father/mentor figure... more on the physically built side... looks like someone who can break your Johnson in half and outthink your every move too...

Brolin as a cantankerous Batman trying to deal with his psychotic teenage son could be hilarious to watch.Depends on the angle which I imagine will be the opposite of The Batman with it's younger Bats to distinguish itself.
